I’m so happy to be able to post about Tara and Nate’s wedding! We had a great time and it was a lot of fun spending the day with them. They are by far the most energetic couple I’ve photographed!
We started out with all the girls at the Fort Garry Hotel. It was a busy place but everyone was relaxed and enjoying the time together. The little flower girls stole the show… that is until Tara got her dress on. :) It was custom made for her and it was perfect! Tara had planned all sorts of personal touches, from the embroidery on her dress to the individual bouquets for her bridesmaids. Each one incorporated unique flowers reflective of each girl’s personality. Academy Florists did an amazing job.
We decided that Nate and Tara should have their first look there at the hotel and the moment didn’t disappoint. Nate was so blown away by his bride and their expressions were awesome. After that we headed to Leo Mol Gardens and despite the hot and sticky weather we got some beautiful images. Everything looked so peaceful and serene and Tara and Nate looked great. Tara’s favourite location for shots was the Manitoba Hydro Building so we made sure we squeezed a few in there, as well as at the Bishop’s Mansion in St. Boniface.
The ceremony was warm and personal too. Friends of Nate and Tara’s sang during the signing of the registry and it sounded beautiful. After some quick family shots at the Legislative grounds we headed back to the Fort Garry for the big party to start! Everything looked absolutely beautiful thanks to hard work by the girls at Soiree and linens from Planned Perfectly. As always, it was a great time working with them as well as the guys from Paperback Films.
Tara and Nate, you couldn’t be more perfect for each other! Thanks so much for including us in your day. We had an awesome time.
