I had a really great time shooting Meghan and Michael’s engagement session a little while ago. Meghan had a few ideas of what she liked but for the most part they just left the specifics up to me. We started off at the St. Boniface Basilica and captured some wonderful images there. I really love the shot of them standing in the archway with the sun beaming down on them! I had scouted out a few different areas to shoot in and I think they turned out great. I always appreciate when a couple is ready and willing to go along with my ideas. :)
Meghan and Michael had one request for this session and that was to stop at the old English style phone booth downtown. They have traveled a lot together and this booth reminded them so much of the fun they had together in London. What a great personal touch to add to their session!
We made one more stop down in the Exchange since it had rained a lot the day before and there would be some amazing reflections to be captured. I also had the chance to play around with some off camera flash which gave a really cool look to some of the images.
Good thing Meghan was crossing her fingers since it was really the only fair-weathered evening for almost a week. ;)
