Jordan and Alexander’s love for each other was easy to see right from the start… some couples take a little while to get comfortable in front of the camera, but they were ready to go right from the beginning. :) They live downtown so it was an easy decision to incorporate that into their engagement session and it’s nice to include an urban feel since their wedding will be out at their cabin.
The weather started out great, always making it easy to photograph, but after about 20 minutes the wind picked up and you could see the rain heading towards us. We quickly finished shooting in the Exchange and headed for Waterfront Drive. The plan was to shoot in the rain there and when we were done they would basically be home. It’s too bad that bad traffic meant that we missed the downpour that we were counting on for some fun shots, but we were still able to shoot as the rain tapered off. Jordan and Alexander were so flexible and easy-going which made it really easy to change plans as we went. I loved how the shots in the rain turned out.
I hope you enjoy these images and I can’t wait for the amazing shots we’ll get at your wedding!
