I love it when couples want to be photographed in locations that have special meaning to them or are a little out-of-the-ordinary. It makes their images all the more personal and meaningful to them. Tracy & Edmund moved into Waverly West in November and really wanted to have their engagement session done there. To be honest I was a little skeptical of how that would look but I was thrilled with how it turned out in the end. There is so much in the area, from trails through the trees, a beautiful fountain, and a large pedestrian bridge. Edmund designs bridges so I knew we had to get a few shots with them and the one in their area. They also love their dog and really wanted to have him in some of the shots… I can understand since our little Lucy has been a part of our family for several years and we definitely love her!
For the second half of the session we headed to the new duck pond at Assiniboine park. The sun broke through some of the trees and made for some gorgeous light. I love it when that happens!
Thanks for a great night guys! I can’t wait to design your guestbook. :)
