I’ve been excited to get back into the swing of things since I took some time off to spend with my family when our daughter was born earlier this month. The weather wasn’t great for Sophorn and Lie’s engagement session, but we were just glad it wasn’t snowing or raining. :) Seriously, what’s up with the weather this spring! Sophorn was a real trooper; she was out there most of the time without her jacket while the photographers were all bundled up and still feeling the cold.
Sophorn and Lie are a very laid back couple, willing to try anything, so we met at The Forks and went to a couple different locations that I knew would look great for their images. We did quite a bit of walking on the cobble stones and it wasn’t until after the shoot that I found out Sophorn was breaking in a new pair of heels… Sorry! We were able to get some wonderful shots that portrayed a warm feeling, even though it was quite cool outside. To end off the session they allowed me to play around with some off-camera flash photography and I think we ended up with some really stunning images.
Thanks for a great night and I can’t wait for your wedding later this summer.
