I really enjoyed shooting Chandra and Chris’s engagement session out in Gimli and I knew their wedding day would be just the same… It’s great spending the day with nice people! We started out in and around The Fort Garry, a favourite spot of mine, and I loved all the little details Chandra chose to include, from the stunning floral wreath in her hair to her custom garters.
Something that Chandra and Chris decided to make time for during their wedding was a moment together before the ceremony and the busyness of the day. Chris was blindfolded to make sure he didn’t see the bride too soon however the emotion of the moment was plain to see. These guys sure love each other!
Weather has been a constant theme for this year’s weddings and Chandra and Chris’s day was no different, however their outdoor ceremony at Bridges went off without a hitch and everyone enjoyed the beauty of this heartfelt time. Even though the rain held off for the ceremony, we battled with it a bit afterwards and had to stay under cover for much of our time, however Bridges is always a beautiful backdrop no matter what the weather throws at you and I love the moments we captured. Chandra’s eye for detail continued into the reception and everything looked beautiful. These guys had an awesome time with their friends and family, celebrating the night away with their loved ones.
Chandra and Chris, you guys are a great couple :) Thanks for entrusting me with capturing your special day!
