Laurel and Mark were so relaxed and easy-going when we shot their engagement session and the same could be said about their wedding day. These guys just wanted to enjoy the day with each other and their close family and friends, and they didn’t stress out at all. It was a pleasure to spend the day with them.
Both these guys looked pretty great in the getting ready shots… especially Laurel with her gorgeous dress from 7th Avenue. I have to say though that this was the first time I’ve ever seen a pair of pliers come out to help get the dress on. :)
Winnipeg hasn’t offered the best winter-wedding weather this year so we chose some great locations like the Conservatory and the Legislative Building. I love the shots that used some of the beautiful late afternoon light. Laurel and Mark were pretty brave to venture out into the frigid weather for some quick outdoor shots, but you couldn’t really have a winter wedding without some snow! I think the pics were worth it. :)
Later on we enjoyed a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Viscount Gort Hotel. The day was wonderful, capturing Laurel and Mark’s easy-going and friendly spirits perfectly.
Thanks for including us in your special day!
