Melissa & Sal’s wedding

I knew Melissa and Sal’s wedding would be full of unique details and since I had a lot of fun shooting their engagement session, I was really looking forward to their big day. There were so many aspects and special moments to capture and it was awesome to spend time at both the bride’s and the groom’s houses before the ceremony time. Family and friends are very important to these guys; that was plain to see throughout the wedding day and everyone enjoyed celebrating with them.

I always appreciate ceremonies that are held at Holy Rosary Church. Father Sam has an amazing ability to keep the congregation smiling and laughing while maintaining the sense of occasion and seriousness of the wedding vows. Since he is a close friend of Sal’s family, this made the ceremony all the more special. As the couple came out of the church, Melissa was able to surprise Sal with a horse and carriage to take them over to the Legislative Building. This was another meaningful moment that reflected the couple’s love of spending time with their horses. I love these shots!

The reception was held at The Fairmont and it was full of amazing details to capture. The room was put together beautifully and you could hear many guests commenting on how stunning it all looked. The evening was full of wonderful moments: heartfelt speeches, the special dances, and a rocking receiving line! The party went on ’til the wee hours of the morning with young and old staying to enjoy it all.
Thanks for allowing us to capture your special day!

Melissa and Sal, I really enjoyed getting to know you guys throughout this whole wedding process. Your day was perfect!
